How it works

Your first round, explained.

Larpit brings two real players into a live 1v1 camera battle. Show your items during a twenty-second round, see the result, and build your place in the season.

Early access · Camera matches are invitation-only · 18+

Before you enter

The current camera-match beta is invitation-only and for adults aged 18 or older. You need an eligible Larpit account, a camera, a microphone, a supported device and a stable internet connection. Opening the website or joining the waitlist does not automatically grant camera-match access.

Check platform availability, then review the competition rules and safety guidance. Only show items and surroundings that you are comfortable sharing with your opponent.

01

Meet your opponent

Eligible players enter a private real-time room. Allow the camera and microphone when prompted, and wait until both players are connected and ready.

02

Show your items

The live round lasts twenty seconds. Physically show the items you want considered. Repeated views of the same object count once; pictures on a screen do not count as physical items.

03

See the result

The ranked judge compares the visible items using the same scoring rules for both players. A valid win or loss changes seasonal LP; draws and void rounds award zero LP.

What the AI considers

With ranked consent, still frames sampled during the round support safety screening and visual judging. The judge considers the distinct physical items shown, their supported relative value and physical presence. It does not provide an exact monetary appraisal or authenticate an item from a logo.

Your appearance, identity, actual personal wealth, follower count, existing rank and purchased avatar cosmetics do not determine the visual score. Microphone audio is live only and is not recorded or judged in the current format. Read the full scoring and result rules for the details.

Understand your LP and season

LP means Larpit Points. In the current ranked rules, the players’ pre-match LP helps determine the size of a win or loss. Equal-LP opponents normally exchange 20 LP; supported adjustments range from 1 to 40 LP, and a loss cannot take your balance below zero. A draw or void produces zero LP for both players.

Seasons give the rankings a fresh start. Check your actual position and any available rewards inside the app. Larpit+ includes a 1.5× multiplier on positive match LP; judging, matchmaking priority and LP losses stay the same. The pricing page explains the current membership and digital purchases.

Make the character yours

Outside a round, use Avatar Studio to customize your virtual character. Profiles, follows and the social feed keep the experience connected beyond a single battle. Virtual clothing and other in-app digital items are separate from the physical objects shown in the camera round.

If a round does not go to plan

Connection problems can cancel or void a round. An unexpected one-sided disconnect has a five-second reconnect grace under the current rules. Deliberately leaving an active round can count as a forfeit. Use the official rules to distinguish these outcomes.
